I’ve been back in JP almost a whole week now. Starting to slowly assimilate into “Tokyo Mode” again. Travel fog starting to lift. Been connecting with old friends online. Feels good to be a part of the community here.
I do miss Australia and have my special way of communicating with Country there. Adelaide is known as “Kaurna” (the aboriginal name for the region) and it is definitely in my blood. The sights, smells, accent, food, air etc. It’s very grounding. And recently I’ve been returning to play my music. I feel I’m becoming part of the music community there too - as a nod to my child self who dreamed of being on stage… It’s all coming full circle.
